National Molding views innovation as the lifeblood of growth and success. We profoundly believe that if we do not continually improve and innovate we would be left behind to the detriment of all of our stakeholders. We view innovation in multiple contexts: products, materials, molding process and control, and Lean innovations.
Product Offerings
We support our customers in their missions to advance their products and develop new market leading innovations such as BEV and autonomous transportation (link to Customer Solutions) and in rapidly evolving medical diagnostic advancements. We seek metal to plastic conversions (link) across all industries to drive light weighting and corrosion resistant product offerings.
Materials
We are actively partnering with entities that are pioneering the development and use of sustainable bio-plastics to eventually reduce or eliminate the reliance on fossil fuels to produce plastic resins. We intend to be at the leading edge of this evolution as it gains momentum with our focus on material performance capabilities and molding process to optimize performance of bio-plastics.
Molding Processes and Control
NMC Dynaplas is widely known for our reliable technical leadership in the conversion of functional metal parts, including aluminum-based and thermoset parts to recyclable thermoplastic. We continue to push our capabilities forward with advanced process control equipment.
Lean Processes
With recent changes at each North American facility, we now have Operations leadership at each facility with deep Lean belief and experience that are challenging our teams to optimize our value streams. We are very excited about our position on the Lean journey and our ability to evolve to the next level.
