We all want the best in life, don’t we? We want to eat the best food. We want to do the best activities. We want to own the best things that money can buy.

How about buckles? Did it ever occur to you that the buckle you own now may or may not be the best of its kind?

To make sure that you have a high quality buckle on your hand, the manufacturer should be known as one of the best belt buckle manufacturers USA, and when it comes to belt buckle manufacturing, National Molding is a name you can trust!

National Molding: Our History

It all began in 1955 when Norman Cohan and Fred Wise founded Security Plastics and in 1965 when Bernie and Marcia Anscher founded the plastic moulding company called National Molding. After decades of being custom belt buckle manufacturers, Joseph Anscher took over National Molding. He practically grew up with it. Both companies specialized in manufacturing technical parts for the booming window and door industry after World War 2.

It was National Molding who created the “Uni Molding System” while Security Plastics, on the other hand, created the “Hetero Cavity Molding.” What are the great things about these technologies? They efficiently eradicated the increased mold costs and low unit pricing tradeoff.

In 2002, a bold move was made. Security Plastics became part of National Molding, making it the world’s biggest plastic injection molding manufacturer using the Hetero Cavity technology. To this very day, National Molding continues to advance by catering custom devices from customers all over the world through their 3 manufacturing plants in Florida, Pennsylvania and Shanghai, China.

Presently, their skillfully manufactured products are being supplied to Tier 1 and 2 car companies. They are also considered to be one of the top plastic buckle manufacturers under the brand “Duraflex USA.” Because it is recognized for creating highly engineered products, they have become a favorite go-to companies for electronics, plumbing, law enforcement, and even the US Military.

Buckle Up!

Just how precisely they make devices for the police and military is the same passion they take pride as quick release buckle suppliers. How do they do this? They use plastic injection mold in creating different kinds of buckles.

Through the use of plastic injection molding process, keeping your pants up is easy because of a plastic belt buckle and a dog walker’s job is made better because of dog collar buckles keeping the dogs safe on a leash. Can you even imagine your life without buckles or plastics in general?
